Job Summary
A non-profit organization dedicated to offering free, online educational content has an open position for a Remote Cloud Services Senior Operations Engineer.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Leading research, design, and implementation of Cloud Services infrastructure and services
- Developing and supporting automation tools and processes
- Leading internal documentation efforts and mentoring other staff
Required Skills:
- Senior level engineering mindset and strong experience in Linux ecosystems
- Experience operating an elastic computing environment for customers
- Experience running Docker and/or container technologies in a production environment
- Experience with Open Source configuration management and orchestration tools
- Strong development skills with a variety of scripting languages used in an SRE/Operations context
- Experience with remotely managing both bare-metal servers and virtualized environments
