Job Summary
A computer software company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Cloud Site Reliability Engineer.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Reporting and solving problems within the Cloud infrastructure services
- Writing code for operational tasks and automation of processes
- Managing Cloud provider infrastructure, system deployments and product releases
Position Requirements Include:
- Experience operating and automating within GovCloud environments
- Some experience in Linux systems, networking, monitoring and automation
- 3+ years of experience using a public Cloud; AWS, GCP, Azure, SoftLayer or OpenStack
- Comfortable writing software to automate API-driven tasks at scale
- Able to contribute to the product codebase in Java and Scala
- Have used Ansible, Puppet, Chef or another config management suite
