Job Summary

An IT company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Cloud System Engineer.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Participating in agile standups and perform code review
  • Collaborating with other developers and departments to ensure high-quality software and timely delivery
  • Implementing code and automation for cloud-based applications and microservices, both front and back end

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience developing and maintaining software applications in the AWS cloud
  • Proficiency in Python or another server-side programming language such as Java
  • Bachelors of Science in Computer Science or equivalent
  • Proficiency developing and consuming REST APIs
  • Proficiency with front-end web development tools (HTML, CSS, Javascript)
  • Knowledge of Jenkins or an equivalent CI tool
