Job Summary
A company that provides information technology services is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote COBOL Application Programmer.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Working from diagrams and charts which identify the nature of desired results
- Planning the full range of programming actions needed to efficiently utilize the computer system
- Analyzing, designing, developing, testing, and implementing distributed applications
Position Requirements Include:
- Must be US Citizen or Green Card Holder
- Must be able to obtain a Public Trust Clearance
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related IT field or 10 years of equivalent experience
- 7+ years of experience developing in a Linux environment
- 7+ years of experience developing with C and/or COBOL
- 7+ years of experience developing backend processes
