An insurance agency has an open position for a Remote COBRA Specialist I.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

• Assisting COBRA participants with questions regarding their COBRA payments and eligibility
• Gathering information for open enrollment packets, rate changes and creates appealtimeline
• Ensuring compliance with HIPAA and HITRUST information security requirements

Position Requirements Include:

• High school degree, or equivalent
• Two [2] years of related office or administrative experience
• Experience handling inbound and outbound calls
• Understanding of COBRA regulations and HIPAA compliance
• Knowledge of ERISA/Non-ERISA/HIPAA rules and regulations
