Remote Coder I - State Licensed

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Coder I, working outside the city in Revenue Integrity/Coding, fully remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Review, analyze, and code diagnostic and procedural information using ICD-10-CM and CPT coding
• Assign and sequence codes according to regulatory guidelines and query physicians for accurate information
• Ensure compliance with organizational documentation policies and meet coding standards consistently

Required Qualifications

• One year of hospital coding experience in a healthcare setting
• Certification such as CCA, CCS, CIC-ICD, COC, CPC, RHIA, or RHIT

Desired Qualifications

• One year of coding experience in an acute care setting
• Diploma
• Additional certifications in coding or health information management
