Job Summary

An official job board company has an open position for a Remote Coder Outpatient Medical Records Technician in Poplar Bluff.

Must be able to:

• Select and assign codes from the current version of several coding systems
• Assign codes to documented patient care encounters
• Adhere to accepted coding practices, guidelines and conventions when choosing the most appropriate diagnosis

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

• Closing date - 10/27/21
• Able to utilize the facility computer system and software applications to correctly code, abstract, record, and transmit data
• Must possess expertise in International ICD, CPT, and the HCPCS
