Remote Coding Appeal Specialist

Job Summary

A healthcare revenue and compliance firm is in need of a Remote Coding Appeal Specialist.

Must be able to:

• Follow functions in accordance with Managed Resources policies
• Perform efficient analysis of denied claims
• Write clear and concise grammatically correct appeals letters in MRI format and to MRI quality standards

Qualifications Include:

• CCS, CPC, or RHIT Certification
• CCS, CPC, or RHIT Certification
• 2+ years of denials writing experience
• Experience reviewing and analyzing denied/downgraded medical records
• Experience in a variety of Electronic Medical Records (EMR) Systems, i.e. (3M, Nuance, Epic, etc.)
• Excellent computer skills (Word, Excel, Skype, Dual Screens, etc.)
