Remote Coding Associate in Medford

Job Summary

A non-profit health care organization is filling a position for a Remote Coding Associate in Medford.

Must be able to:

• Provide assistance to authorized users to furnish aggregate data and information needed for education
• Utilize standardized coding and classification systems
• Code and abstract of outpatient records

Qualifications Include:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 1 year ancillary/outpatient coding experience and the ability to code ambulatory surgery
• Hospital-specific, outpatient surgery coding experience
• CPT assignment experience
• Certified Coding Associate (CCA) by the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA)
• Certified Professional Coder(CPC) by the American Academy of Professional Coders Health Information Management Association (AAPC)
