A health services company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Coding Audit Specialist.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Resolving medical record documentation deficiencies through healthcare provider query
- Being responsible for researching errors or missing documentation
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and laws.
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Minimum of 3-5 years' Pro-Fee coding experience
- Minimum of one year of experience in coding audit or quality review work - required
- Coding Certification through AHIMA or AAPC
- Strong technical and computer skills
- Technical proficiency with computers, basic Microsoft software, and medical software systems (PM/EHR)
