Remote Coding Compliance Educator

Job Summary

A learning institution is filling a position for a Remote Coding Compliance Educator.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

• Assure accuracy and compliance of coding
• Communicate regulation, policy, and guideline changes to affected personnel
• Communicate review results to department management, coders and other appropriate staff

Qualifications Include:

• Bachelor's degree in a work-related field/discipline from an accredited college or university
• Three years of progressively responsible and directly related work experience
• Certified Coding Specialist and ICD-10 Certified Trainer or RHIT
• Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities as well as possession of any required licenses or certifications
