Job Summary

A healthcare information service provider is in need of a Remote Coding Improvement Coordinator in Falls Church.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Proactively identify areas of opportunity to improve coding quality
• Coordinate educational opportunities for the coding staff
• Demonstrate attention to detail to minimize coding errors, legitimately optimize reimbursement and ensure accurate billing

Position Requirements Include:

• Two weeks of paid training in Northern Virginia
• 5 years of coding and or audit experience
• High School Diploma or GED
• Must have one of the following credentials upon hire: CCS, CCS-P, CPC, or COC
• Must hold a current audit credential such as CPMA or CEMA or be able to obtain within 6 months of hire
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, must be able to meet deadlines, have ability to multi-task
