Job Summary
A healthcare information service provider is in need of a Remote Coding Improvement Coordinator in Falls Church.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Proactively identify areas of opportunity to improve coding quality
- Coordinate educational opportunities for the coding staff
- Demonstrate attention to detail to minimize coding errors, legitimately optimize reimbursement and ensure accurate billing
Position Requirements Include:
- Two weeks of paid training in Northern Virginia
- 5 years of coding and or audit experience
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must have one of the following credentials upon hire: CCS, CCS-P, CPC, or COC
- Must hold a current audit credential such as CPMA or CEMA or be able to obtain within 6 months of hire
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, must be able to meet deadlines, have ability to multi-task
