Remote Coding Liaison Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Clinician Coding Liaison - Medical Specialties.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver proactive coding education through various channels and ensure documentation accuracy
• Lead onboarding and compliance training for employed Physicians/APPs and provide individualized documentation feedback
• Serve as the primary contact for coding inquiries and collaborate across departments to enhance documentation practices

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA), Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT), or similar coding certification required
• Completion of advanced training through a recognized or accredited program; high school diploma or GED required
• Typically requires 4 years of experience in expert-level professional coding
• In-depth knowledge of ICD, CPT, and HCPCS coding guidelines
• Strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
