Job Summary
A non-profit health care system is seeking a Remote Coding Physician Practice Associate Director.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Select, train, coach, motivate, and direct the workflow for staff
- Participate in the development of the department budget
- Drive organization performance improvements
Qualifications Include:
- Must possess a strong knowledge normally obtained through a bachelor’s in a related field
- In the acute care environment, must have RHIA, RHIT, or CCS in an active status with AHIMA or AAPC
- In the ambulatory setting, must have CPC or CCS-P
- Knowledge in coding normally demonstrated through 3+ years of progressive coding leadership
- Ability to use common office software and coding software applications
