Remote Coding Quality Auditor

Job Summary

To support the quality of clinical documentation and coding, the full-time Remote Coding Quality Auditor will collaborate with clinical teams, ensure compliance with coding guidelines, and manage advanced project work while residing in IL, IN, IA, WI, OH, MO, MI, or FL.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborates with the clinical documentation team to identify documentation improvement opportunities and assess quality metrics
• Ensures compliance with coding practices and identifies educational opportunities related to coding and documentation
• Partners with various departments to execute advanced project work and implement new workflow solutions

Required qualifications

• RHIT, RHIA, or CCS Certification
• Certified Clinical Documentation Specialist
• Bachelor's Degree in a healthcare-related field or an Associate's Degree with five-plus years of healthcare coding experience
• Prior experience working with clinical documentation teams
• Strong personal computer skills, including proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio
