Job Summary
A medical healthcare center is in need of a Remote Coding Quality Review Educator.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Respond to coding-related questions from HSC coding staff
- Lead, coordinate and perform all functions of quality reviews
- Provide Coding Integrity Specialist (CIS) and CQR education as needed
Skills and Requirements Include:
- High School graduate or GED equivalent
- 5 years acute care inpatient/outpatient coding experience
- RHIA, RHIT, CCS, or CPC
- Minimum of 3 years coding auditing/monitoring experience strongly preferred
- Extensive regulatory coding, (ICD-10-CM, ICD-10- PCS and associated reimbursement knowledge
- demonstrates proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and others as required
