Remote Coding Quality Reviewer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Remote IP Quality Reviewer.

Key Responsibilities

• Access and review medical record documentation for coding and abstracting accuracy
• Utilize ICD-10 CM/PCS and CPT coding classification systems for quality reviews
• Enter review results into proprietary quality review tracking software and respond to coder rebuttals

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of medical coding or review experience
• High School Diploma (relevant experience may substitute for formal education)
• Must hold an active coding credential (RHIT, RHIA, CCS, CPC, CIC, or COC)
• Must maintain coding credential while employed
• Must pass a coding competency exam
