Job Summary
A healthcare company has an open position for a Remote Coding Reimbursement Specialist.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Abstracting data necessary for billing and statistical purposes
- Assisting with identification and implementation of process improvements
- Serving as a coding subject matter expert in clinical department meetings
Qualifications for this position include:
- Minimum 3 Years Coding Experience
- Certification(s): CCS, RHIT or RHIA
- Advanced understanding of coding grouping methodologies
- Advanced understanding of ICD10CM coding, ICD10PCS coding, CPT coding and coding guidelines
