Job Summary
A consulting company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Coding Resolution Specialist II in Nashville.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Compiling daily work list from eRequest, CRT, or other alert/edit systems
- Escalating alert and edit resolution issues to minimize final billing delays
- Providing back-up coverage for emergency department, recurring, clinical, and other accounts
Position Requirements Include:
- High School graduate or GED equivalent
- RHIA, RHIT, or CCS
- 1 year acute care observation and same day surgery hospital outpatient coding experience
- ICD-10-CM, CPT/HCPCS, and associated reimbursement knowledge
- Ability to work with billing, revenue integrity, or Medicare Service Center to resolve alerts and edits
- Ability to perform alert and edit resolution activities in the applicable systems for the facilities
