Job Summary

A consulting company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Coding Resolution Specialist II in Nashville.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

• Compiling daily work list from eRequest, CRT, or other alert/edit systems
• Escalating alert and edit resolution issues to minimize final billing delays
• Providing back-up coverage for emergency department, recurring, clinical, and other accounts

Position Requirements Include:

• High School graduate or GED equivalent
• RHIA, RHIT, or CCS
• 1 year acute care observation and same day surgery hospital outpatient coding experience
• ICD-10-CM, CPT/HCPCS, and associated reimbursement knowledge
• Ability to work with billing, revenue integrity, or Medicare Service Center to resolve alerts and edits
• Ability to perform alert and edit resolution activities in the applicable systems for the facilities
