A financial services company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Collections Insurance Specialist in Manitowoc.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Engaging in and enjoying active listening with callers, confirming or clarifying information and diffusing conflict
- Offering education on the healthcare revenue cycle and troubleshoots accounts
- Making appropriate changes or documentation in client healthcare systems and internal technology platforms
Skills and Requirements Include:
- High School Diploma / GED Required
- 1+ year(s) of experience multi-tasking in a fast- paced environment required
- 1+ year(s) of experience in a customer service capacity required
- 1+ year(s) of experience with medical insurance, coding, or billing in a professional environment required
- Knowledge of collections industry, healthcare revenue cycle, and medical insurance and billing processes and terminology
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite required
