Remote Collections Representative

Job Summary

Seeking ambitious and self-motivated individuals, the Remote Collections Representative will work from home in Eastern or Central time zones, communicating with consumers to resolve unpaid accounts, providing account updates, and counseling delinquent consumers while adhering to applicable laws and company policies.

Key responsibilities

• Communicate with consumers by telephone and written correspondence to resolve unpaid accounts
• Provide thorough and accurate account updates on computer files for each interaction
• Counsel delinquent consumers to assist them in meeting their payment obligations

Required qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Access to high-speed internet with a hard-wired connection
• Knowledge of FDCPA preferred
• Professional phone etiquette and solid negotiating skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and remain stationary for 95% of the time
