Remote Collections Representative

Job Summary

Seeking ambitious individuals, the full-time Remote Collections Representative will communicate with consumers to resolve unpaid accounts, provide accurate account updates, and assist delinquent consumers in meeting their payment obligations while working remotely in the Eastern or Central time zones.

Key responsibilities

• Communicating with consumers by telephone and written correspondence to resolve unpaid accounts
• Providing thorough and accurate account updates in computer files for each interaction
• Counseling delinquent consumers to assist them in finding funds to meet payment obligations

Required qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Access to high-speed internet with a hard-wired connection
• Knowledge of FDCPA preferred
• Professional phone etiquette and solid negotiating skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and remain in a stationary position for extended periods
