Remote Collections Representative

Job Summary

Seeking ambitious and self-motivated individuals, the part-time Remote Collections Representative will manage calls to secure payments on past due student loan accounts while ensuring compliance with relevant laws and company policies.

Key responsibilities

• Call consumers to collect payments on overdue student loan accounts
• Ensure all work complies with company policies and local, state, and federal regulations
• Maintain confidentiality and provide excellent customer service during interactions

Required qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of experience in Tuition or Private Student Loan Collections
• Knowledge of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA)
• Professional phone etiquette and strong negotiating skills
• Access to high-speed internet with a wired connection
