Remote Collections Specialist

Job Summary

To support a fast-growing team, the fully remote Collections Specialist will manage inbound and outbound calls to collect payments for medical and non-medical accounts while adhering to applicable laws.

Key responsibilities

• Handle inbound and outbound telephone calls to perform collections activity professionally
• Utilize negotiation and customer service skills to achieve positive collection results
• Ensure compliance with FDCPA, FCRA, HIPAA, and other relevant regulations

Required qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in Collections, Call Center, or Customer Service roles
• Proficient in entering and updating data accurately in company/client systems
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Flexibility in scheduling, including evening and Saturday shifts as needed
