Job Summary
Seeking a full-time Remote Collections Specialist, the successful candidate will manage inbound and outbound calls to collect payments for medical and non-medical accounts while adhering to relevant regulations.
Key responsibilities:
- Handle inbound and outbound telephone calls to perform collections activities professionally
- Utilize negotiation and customer service skills to achieve positive collection results
- Ensure compliance with FDCPA, FCRA, HIPAA, and other applicable laws
Required qualifications:
- 1+ years of experience in Collections, Call Center, or Customer Service roles
- Proficiency in entering and updating data accurately in company/client systems
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
- Strong organizational skills with the capability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Flexibility in scheduling, including availability for evening and Saturday shifts as needed
