Job Summary
A for-profit distance-learning college has a current position open for a Remote College of Business Faculty Member.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Teach assigned courses within the qualified discipline including curriculum maintenance and innovation of content
- Serve as course content expert and reviews individual courses for rigor and currency
- Serve as a dissertation chair and/or committee member as assigned
Position Requirements Include:
- Possess a terminal degree in the teaching discipline or in a closely related discipline from an accredited program/college/university
- Knowledge of the structure & content of the English language
- Knowledge of university guidelines, course descriptions, and academic terminology
- Uses logic and reasoning to look at different types of information in order to make conclusions and work through problems
- The ability to read and understand information and ideas presented in writing
