Job Summary
A private Christian university that works with students to offer them quality education opportunities regardless of their background is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote College of Nursing and Health Care Adjunct Faculty DNP Project Chair.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Equipping students with the required skill set, facilitating classroom discussions, assessing student performance and preparing students to be successful leaders in their chosen profession
- Supporting the students in their development of the Direct Practice Improvement (DPI) project proposal, IRB submission, implementation, data analysis, and final submission to the DNP Department
- Being with each student throughout their three project courses, plus any additional "extension" courses that are required for the student to finish their final manuscript
Position Requirements Include:
- Doctorate in Nursing Practice (DNP) or PhD Nursing
- Ability to maintain an active unencumbered, multi-state RN license in an Enhanced Nurse Licensure compact state
- Possession of two of the foolowing: At least 3 years’ experience teaching graduate level coursework; At least 5 years of nursing leadership experience; or demonstrated expertise through publications or scholarly work
- Experience in teaching pathophysiology or genetics courses, preferred
- Experience using analytical methods to collect data, knowledge about EBP projects and scholarly writing, Institutional Review Board (IRB) experience, and experience with Graduate level capstone courses; preferred
- Ability to provide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement and Mission
