Job Summary
An online education company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Colorado Certified Secondary Social Studies Teacher.
Must be able to:
- Teach Social Studies virtually to secondary students, using telephone, internet and various curriculum tools
- Communicate with parents and students and collaborate with other teachers on a regular basis
- Work with other teachers to coordinate social activities and relevant field trips for students
Qualifications for this position include:
- Willingness to travel on occasion for marketing and state testing events (may require occasional overnight travel)
- Ability to work some occasional evening hours, as needed to support some families
- Have a home office within the state of Colorado
- Highly qualified and certified to teach Secondary Social Studies in Colorado
- Strong technology skills (especially with Microsoft OS and MS Office programs)
- Demonstrated ability to work well in fast paced environment
