Job Summary
A media company has a current position open for a Remote Commercial Counsel.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Reviewing, drafting, and negotiating commercial agreements
- Responding promptly to legal requests from the sales team and other members of the business
- Keeping current on relevant industry standards, laws, and regulations
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- JD, with admission to at least one bar
- 3+ years of in-house experience at a SaaS company
- Strong technical background and significant hands-on experience in SaaS contracting
- Excited to roll up your sleeves, learn the business and proactively identify opportunities and risks
- Excellent communication skills and can make complex communications simple
- Comfortable participating in cross-functional and nationally distributed teams
