Job Summary

An information services company has an open position for a Remote Commercial Real Estate Services Examiner.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Reading and drawing out metes and bounds legal description
  • Reviewing abstracts of title provided by external or internal abstractors
  • Assisting in preparation of final title policies and endorsements

Qualifications for this position include:

  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in the title industry
  • Experience in abstracting and examining
  • Advanced knowledge of real estate conveyancing documents
  • Familiarity with abstracting, plotting and title production software
  • Advanced familiarity with survey concepts, including ALTA/ACSM survey standards
  • Ability to read and draw legal descriptions, including metes and bounds and platted property
