Job Summary
A real estate company is filling a position for a Remote Commercial Title Clearance Officer in the Syosset Area.
Must be able to:
- Research title records received to examine commercial title properties
- Write title reports, policies, endorsements, and Pro forma policies
- Determine the insurability of title, minimizing the risk exposure of potential losses
Position Requirements Include:
- Ability to review abstracts and prepare title commitments
- Ability to clear objections and/or collaborate with Clients and Underwriters
- Ability to perform survey readings and add relevant affirmative insurance
- Ability to oversee post-closing matters and escrow release
- Ability to draft metes and bounds descriptions
- Ability to review legal documents and affidavits
