Job Summary
A non-profit humanitarian organization is filling a position for a Remote Communications and Development Intern in San Diego.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Providing essential support to the Development team in planning and executing successful external fundraising events
- Providing administrative support San Diego’s community engagement and online presence
Position Requirements Include:
- Detail-oriented and able to multi-task efficiently
- Currently in an Undergraduate or graduate degree program or graduated within one year, preferably event planning, marketing, or related area of study
- Experience in event planning, sales or marketing, or managing social media a plus
- Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
- Able to work in fast-paced, deadline driven, team-oriented environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
