Job Summary
A climate change non-profit organization is seeking a Remote Communications and Outreach Coordinator in San Francisco.
Must be able to:
- Oversee media/press strategy; management of press release writing and press outreach
- Research, create content, and manage the WECAN social media accounts
- Coordinate and contribute to content writing and editing of articles, blog and other mediums
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Average of 2-3 weeks of work travel per year
- Completed Associates or Bachelors degree
- Significant previous work experience with a non-profit, NGO, campaign, or community organization
- Professional communications background, superb writing and editing skills
- Strong digital literacy and confidence in managing platforms
- All other requirements necessary for this position
