Job Summary
A non-profit organization that seeks to eliminate voter oppression is filling a position for a Remote Communications Associate.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Develop and execute creative tactics to help state-level communications break through in a crowded media environment
- Draft written materials for media outreach on behalf of the company’s campaigns, our partners, and other validators
- Provide communications support to in-state campaign partners in traditional and digital mobilization
Qualifications for this position include:
- 3+ years of experience in communications with a track record of executing high quality work in a fast-paced campaign environment
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Experience communicating complex policy ideas in a way that helps audiences understand and relate to them
- A high degree of comfort with long and short-form writing
- A snappy content creator who is comfortable working in a fast-paced, campaign environment
- Fluency with website and social media platforms and digital content production
