A nonprofit organization helping kids and families thrive in a world of media and technology is filling a position for a Remote Communications Vice President in San Francisco.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Developing and implementing an integrated strategic communications plan
- Managing the communications team and outside consultants
- Serving as a spokesperson and lead point person on media interactions
Required Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, or a related field
- 10 years' experience in a senior management communications role,
- Extensive successful writing and editing experience
- Comfort with proactively building relationships with top-tier reporters and editors,
- Experience in building, mentoring, and coaching a diverse team
