Job Summary
One of the worlds most iconic teaching and research institutions has an open position for a Remote Community Engagement Liaison in Los Angeles.
Must be able to:
- Plan visits to schools, schedule and make presentations, interview, and conduct follow-up visits
- Provide general academic, personal, financial, and career counseling across disciplines and colleges/schools
- Evaluate transcripts and international records for eligibility
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- An average of 40% travel around the LA area during peak season is required
- A valid driver's license and DMV check for driving record is required
- Bachelors degree in related area and/or equivalent experience/training
- Ability to interpret policies and procedures to prospective students and the public
- Ability to develop recruitment programs, and design effective materials
- Thorough knowledge and experience working with a diverse student population
