Job Summary

A non-profit managed care organization is filling a position for a Remote Community Programs Coordinator.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • providing programmatic support in the areas of scheduling, didactic planning, new program development and set-up, and evaluations
  • Assisting in the coordination and preparation of resource material for scheduled meetings and presentations in a timely manner
  • Managing CP referral queues

Qualifications Include:

  • Possesses organization skills and takes initiative to resolve issues
  • Minimum 2 years' in administrative, customer service, and/or patient services coordination
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in position requiring high levels of cooperation, collaboration, troubleshooting and problem resolution required
  • Knowledge of project/program coordination and has a commitment to continuous process improvement
  • Associates degree or an equivalent combination of education and highly relevant experience required
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, electronic medical records, and healthcare processes
