An open-source software company has an open position for a Remote Competition and Regulatory Counsel.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Oversee our engagement in a variety of complex global competition issues
- Collaborating on the intersection of global competition, privacy, and internet regulation
- Learning the intricacies of internet architecture, browsers, operating systems, etc
Position Requirements Include:
- J.D. degree and membership in a U.S. state bar with good standing
- OR foreign equivalent
- 8 years of broad regulatory experience
- Experience in a government agency, law firm and/or in-house legal department
- Experience representing clients before global privacy, competition, or consumer protection agencies
- Experience working with a wide range of policymaking and regulatory bodies
