Job Summary
An online freelance marketplace is in need of a Remote Compliance and Ethics Associate Counsel.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Assist in creating, maintaining and communicating organization’s compliance programs
- Advise teams on a wide range of ethics & compliance matters
- Track new and evolving privacy, compliance, and related laws globally and help drive organizational compliance with them
Qualifications for this position include:
- Licensed to practice law, in good standing, in at least one state in the United States
- 2-3 years experience in one or more of these: Ethics and Integrity, Privacy and Information Security, Anti-Money Laundering/Export Control
- 2-3 years experience experience at a law firm or in-house legal team
- Experience balancing legal risks with business objectives
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- A positive attitude and high EQ
