Job Summary
A software developer is seeking a Remote Compliance Manager.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Working with the Chief Compliance Officer to perform an AML/CTF risk assessment of PTI and/or any of its clients or prospective clients
- Supervising any analysts or contractors who are charged with reviewing AML/CTF alerts
- Implementing the AML/CTF training program for new hires and providing periodic training for in-scope employees or contractors
Qualifications for this position include:
- Ability to travel to San Francisco for regulatory exams; and to anti-fraud conferences when health regulations permit
- Minimum of 6 years of compliance, risk management, or fraud management, with at least two years in MSB/MT related field
- ACAMS certification will be required after hire
- Prior experience working in a leadership role within the compliance department of an MSB/MT, regulated fintech or regulated cryptocurrency company
- Demonstrated knowledge of the unique compliance issues related to online transactions
- Demonstrated up-to-date command of regulatory issues in the cryptocurrency and payments realms
