Job Summary
A financial services and technology company is filling a position for a Remote Compliance Operations Head.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Managing and overseeing the compliance operations functions for the company
- Managing all aspects of Enhanced Due Diligence, Product Compliance, Issue Management, Financial Crime Investigations and External Response
- Ensuring a metrics-based approach to decision making with crisp, clear goals
Skills and Requirements Include:
- 10 + years of relevant experience (ideally, more) in some combination of the following: banks, broker-dealers, government regulators, or SROs
- 5+ years experience leading and building teams
- Comprehensive knowledge of compliance operations
- Demonstrated experience building high-functioning teams especially in hypergrowth environments
- Proven strong operational abilities with an eye for optimizing and improving procedures
- Ability to improve processes, procedures, and policies in performing reviews of higher risk clients to identify financial crimes risk
