Remote Compliance Research Investigator

Job Summary

Working remotely on a contract basis, the Customer Support V will conduct compliance reviews of customer complaints related to regulated money movement services, ensuring accurate documentation and support for legal and compliance teams.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct compliance reviews of customer complaints by analyzing account history, case notes, and transaction records
• Compile and organize research findings into clear summaries and document packages for compliance and subpoena teams
• Maintain meticulous records of research activities and document production status in the case management database

Required qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in compliance, customer dispute resolution, or legal/investigative support, preferably in financial services or fintech
• Demonstrated experience conducting research across multiple systems and synthesizing findings into organized deliverables
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a high-pressure, deadline-driven environment
• Advanced research and analytical skills with a proven ability to locate specific records across disparate systems
• Hands-on experience with Salesforce, with the ability to efficiently query and navigate records
