Job Summary
A staffing firm is in need of a Remote Component Design Engineer in Hillsboro.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Work with UNIX/Linux platforms
- Work with software development/programming in high-level languages
- Work with layout and/or schematic entry tools such as Cadence Virtuoso and Synopsys Custom Designer
Qualifications for this position include:
- 2 years of experience in Design Rule Development/Support
- Bachelor's degree (Master/Ph.D. preferred) in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
- Exposure to VLSI design and execution
- Demonstrate experience in DRC rule writing and algorithmic development in their corresponding development languages
- Demonstrate experience in semiconductor device physics, models, and technology scaling
- Demonstrate familiarity in industry-standard CAD tools/flows for digital and/or analog design
