Job Summary
An educational institution has an open position for a Remote Composition II Instructional Faculty in Pittsburgh.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Teaching assigned courses within the qualified discipline
- Ensuring consistent achievement of effective student outcomes in course success, persistence, retention, and overall graduation
- Maintaining a high level of engagement with each student
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Possess a terminal degree or master’s degree in the teaching discipline
- Ability to inspire students to learn and to do the work necessary to successfully complete the course
- Knowledge of university guidelines, course descriptions, and academic terminology
- Knowledge of office administrative procedures, primarily managing files and records
- The ability to communicate information and ideas in speaking so others will understand
