Job Summary
A social media company is filling a position for a Remote Computational Imaging and Display Research Intern.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Develop new calibration and rendering schemes specific to a novel display architecture and implement known schemes as appropriate
- Collaborate with an optics research team to develop, calibrate, drive, and test novel display architectures
- Collaborate with the larger company team and provide creative leadership on display technologies
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- 2+ years experience with scientific programming languages such as Matlab, Python, Mathematica, or similar
- 2+ years experience in geometric, physical optics, computational imaging or micro-optics emphasizing modeling and hardware prototyping
- Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining, a PhD degree in the field of Optical Science or Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, computational imaging or a related field
- Interpersonal experience: cross-group and cross-culture collaboration
