Job Summary
An online marketplace is seeking a Remote Compute Cloud Senior Software Development Engineer.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Architecting, implementingand deploying distributed systems that work at the scale of the EC2 fleet
- Developing algorithms that retrieve, enrich and deliver data at EC2 scale
- Providing technical leadership and mentoring
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- 4+ years of professional software development experience
- 3+ years of programming experience with at least one software programming language
- 2+ years of experience contributing to the system design or architecture of new and current systems
- Experience as a mentor, tech lead OR leading an engineering team
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or related or equivalent experience
- Experience leading, and mentoring high-performance engineering teams
