Job Summary
A media company is filling a position for a Remote Connected TV Senior Accessibility Architect.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Assuming a lead practitioner role on behalf of accessibility for all connected TV platforms
- Creating and maintaining processes and policies to manage accessibility across each stage of the digital product lifecycle
- Conducting product evaluations according to current Web Content Accessibility Standards
Position Requirements Include:
- 5+ years of experience in digital accessibility and compliance in the technology space
- 4+ years of web development, with the ability to build apps from the ground up that incorporate accessible user experience principles
- 3+ years practical experience with accessibility testing on web screen readers and CTV text-to-speech systems
- 3+ years applying accessibility standards and tools to product development
- 2+ years experience in the development of accessible interfaces and experience in the product development lifecycle
- 2+ years integrating federal compliance requirements around closed captioning, audio description, and interface accessibility
