Remote Console Attendant

Job Summary

Answering a variety of calls from the hospital's main telephone line, the part-time Remote Console Attendant will interpret call directions, transfer calls to appropriate areas, and manage paging services while ensuring timely responses to emergency situations.

Key responsibilities

• Answer the attendant console within three rings and route calls to the appropriate personnel
• Respond to emergency, fire/security, and STAT pages immediately upon receipt of calls
• Assist callers and visitors, including those with language barriers or in distress, in a professional manner

Required qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• One year of customer service or console attendant experience
• Experience in a medical office setting is preferred
