Job Summary

A social media company that allows users to see what other people are talking about and enables them to engage in conversation has a current position open for a Remote Consumer Revenue Staff Android Software Engineer.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Set technical direction, shape our engineering culture, identify and adopt best practices, design effective partnerships, and mentor and coach our technical leads
  • Serve as a technical leader with autonomy who will work to enable effective collaboration, high velocity execution, and technical excellence
  • Work at all layers of the stack and partner closely with technical leaders and management across all of engineering, data science, research, product, and design

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience developing Android applications (Java or Kotlin)
  • Experience in a technical leadership/Staff role
  • Experience leading large geographically distributed teams
  • BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
  • Ability to help our codebase stay ahead of the curve of the constantly evolving development ecosystem
  • Ability to ensure that feature development is both fast and fun
