Job Summary
A health services company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Contact Center Patient Support Medical Assistant.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Answering incoming phone calls in a call center environment
- Assisting the Triage Nurse team by providing patients related information as requested under clinical supervision
- Performing appointment scheduling for provider office visits, telemedicine visits, and/or LAB/Nurse Visit
Position Requirements Include:
- High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution
- Medical Assistant Certification or completion of a formal Medical Assistant training program required
- 1+ years of Pharmacy Technician experience with current certificate/license preferred
- Some experience working in a Call Center, and/or handling high volumes of incoming calls is ideal
- Ability to work a flexible schedule (some nights and weekends) required
- Experience using EMR systems, preferably Athena Health
